Gayleen Froese is a novelist and musician from Western Canada. She has worked as a radio writer and talk show host, an advertising creative director, and a communications officer. She has also worked as a costumed mascot, but she doesn't like to talk about that. Gayleen now works in corporate communications by day, writes by night, and acts with an improv murder mystery company in her spare time. She can be seen in a 2006 episode of Book Television's A Total Write-Off.

Gayleen is an award-winning singer-songwriter who has released three CDs and played showcases across Canada, including Toronto's NXNE. More information about her music can be found here.

Touch is Gayleen's first novel and was a top five Edmonton best seller in 2005. It is available from the very nice people at NeWest Press in Edmonton, Alberta.

Gayleen has lived in Saskatoon and Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and in Toronto, Ontario. She now lives in Edmonton's historic Alberta Avenue neighbourhood, along with her housemate and a variety of animal friends.

If you have questions for Gayleen, she can be reached through NeWest Press, or by email, or through her blog.
